On a Mission with Maurice: Influencers Discover the Passchendaele Museum
SMALL BEGINNINGS
The renovated Passchendaele Museum, entirely dedicated to World War I, wanted to strengthen its position as the perfect outing for young families. The museum is highly child-friendly, with tailored audio guides for different age groups and fun activities. Together with Lisa, Louis and Maurice the museum rat, families can explore the story of the Great War in an engaging way. Yet, too few young families were finding their way to the museum.
BIG EFFORTS AND RESULTS
To raise awareness among young families, Small Talk collaborated with five Flemish influencers. Each received a teaser “Mission Maurice” package at home, allowing children to get excited about their visit beforehand. Their family adventures at the museum were widely shared across Flanders. In addition, a creative giveaway of the Mission Maurice package generated strong engagement and brought new followers to the Passchendaele Museum’s social media account.
A wave of enthusiastic posts and stories positioned the Passchendaele Museum as the must-visit destination for a fun and educational family day out.
