During the Christmas and Easter holidays, Roeselare is a popular destination for shopping enthusiasts and warm waffle worshippers. To steer clear of a boomer image, Roeselare went in search of a trendy activity for the young and the not so young. And with ‘young and trendy’ the first thing to come to mind is obviously... TikTok!

Big efforts and results

So TikTok. Not just one video but a genuine TikTok Tour (in 3 different editions, no less!). In each case, Small Talk scoured the map of Roeselare and selected 10 locations for a challenge. Together with dancing queens and influencers such as Lana Verkest, Luna Dupont and Hailey Bonduwe, crazy choreographies were developed to equally catchy tunes. The result? Trending hashtags and TikTok clips, an uninterrupted flow of cool kids in the streets of Roeselare and a super swinging image for the shopping city. In one word: wow!
